The objective of the project is to provide well-structured sports and recreation for youth and adults opportunities to participate in physical activities that have immediate impact and long-term benefits. Higher fitness level, better health and enjoyable social interaction.
In partnership with the Lao Soccer League, the LAO continues to offers youth, community members the fun, friendship and talent of its members every summer. Lao Soccer league is focusing on promoting involvement in recreation, sport and physical activity.
In partnership with outlying associations, local businesses and volunteers, Lao Soccer League of Ontario is promoting not only soccer, it engages in local and friendly tour competitions.
Officially, soccer season starts by the end of May of each and every year. The league is organizing friendly soccer tournaments for Ontario. Teams from outlying areas, local teams compete for first place and trophy. Contact Lao Soccer League at: (416) 398-3057
dt8=h (Sepak Takraw) - The Ultimate Kick Volley-ball
The intended project was to organize after-school sport and recreation activities for youth and to encourage those who have given up their frustrated efforts to join mainstream programs. This in-door recreational project was developed by the LAO and the Ministry of Citizenship, Culture and Receation.
Sepak takraw is Malaysia's national sport. It is a game that progresses like volleyball without using hands or arms, Played in a court n using a net, with same dimension as badminton. Contact the Lao Association of Ontario for membership and formation of team at (416) 398-3057
